Homemade chocolate peanut clusters are the perfect nutty dessert for the holidays. You would love to bite into the crunchy peanuts hidden within a generous coating of chocolate. Being protein-rich, the nuts enhance the nutrition quotient of the dessert by notches.
Spray a 6 quart (6-liter) bowl of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking oil. Alternatively, you can use a liner.
Put all the ingredients inside and cover and cook in low for 1-2 hours or until the chocolate is fully melted. [N.B. You should stir occasionally, every 20-30 minutes or so, to prevent the chocolate at the bottom of the cooker bowl from burning]
Stir well to combine
Drop the mixture in dollops with a metal spoon or cookie scoop onto the prepared baking sheets.
Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until the clusters are set.
